Micah's first Tigers game, Adelie is 4 months old!

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to go to Detroit again for Home Plate (players giving their testimonies!) with the youth group. Micah was able to go this year.  He wouldn't take a good pic all day, but we tried to make the day memorable for him. He got to ride the carousel, got a certificate with his name and date on it that commemorated his first game, we walked around the whole stadium,  and Uncle Myke spoiled him with ice cream! The only thing that would have made it better for him-he really wanted to get on the field.

And yesterday Adelie turned 4 months old.  She is such a happy baby! She did have a round of shots yesterday, so that makes for a sleepy, but not too crabby yet, baby.

Tried some rice cereal. Note her tongue-not much got in her mouth. Maybe she isn't quite ready yet.

Her Dr appt stats- she weighed in at 11 lb 7 oz, 23 inches long. About 10th percentile.
In comparison: Micah was 14 lbs even and 24 1/4 in long at 4 months,
Matt was 13 lb 4 oz, 25.5 in,
Jennie was 12 lb 12.75 oz, 23.5 in.

Parks and Parties

Happy Birthday Aunt Alli! We stopped by Alli's house on her lunch break to say happy bday. Before hand, we were at Bigby coffee, and Micah was telling everyone he saw that he was going to Alli's for her bday! too cute. 

Afterwards, we went to Riverview park and enjoyed the warmer weather.  Micah is a huge fan of the swings!

 He also enjoyed the merry-go-round.  I asked if he was dizzy, and he said no. Then while trying to get off, he fell down and laughed because he couldn't hold himself up!

 Rewind to the weekend-we traveled to Ann Arbor/Saline Friday to celebrate Lydia's first bday! I'm terrible and din't take any pictures, but it was fun and Lydia was too cute in her ladybug outfit and tutu!

Saturday on the way home, Matt insisted we go to Mongolian BBQ for dinner because we haven't been in a few years.  Micah loved the rice and ate it right from the bowl.

Micah is 3!

Micah was officially 3 years old this past Wednesday, April 3rd! I can't believe I have a 3 year old...

Today we had family and friends over to celebrate.  Since it was the first week of baseball, we had a Tiger's baseball themed party.

Ballpark food-Baby Ruths, Baseball cupcakes, lemonade (also served but not pictured-hot dogs, popcorn, beer, Big League Chew, and not baseball themed but served fruit, chips, and cake and ice cream)

 Sorry, didn't get any pics of opening presents. It was mayhem! There were 7 kids age 4 and under, and there were 4 of them wanting and trying to open gifts... :) 

A lot of the boys went outside to play teeball, corn hole, and just chew their Big League gum.

 Which thanks to Matt, Micah calls "Chaw" gum, and he wanted to show it to me...

 Easter Egg Hunt

Today we went to get the kids pictures done (Adelie will be 3 months old tomorrow and Micah 3 yrs old on Wed).  We planned on getting pics of them separately and then together.  Micah did not cooperate. He had 2 pics taken-one he had a straight face, the other a scowl and looking down.  Not what I had hoped for! Adelie however performed beautifully, and in less than 3 minutes we had at least 10 great smiling pics! So good for her, better luck next time for the rest of the pics!

 Last night, Kelly and I went to something called Wine and Canvas.  It is a company out of South Bend that holds these mass art classes.  Everyone works on the same painting with the instruction of an artist.  And of course you can drink wine while you do it!  We had so much fun, and honestly we are pretty impressed considering we have to artistic ability whatsoever!

My beautiful kids!

Adelie was 10 weeks old as of yesterday! She is a sweetie.  Monday night she slept through the night for the first time! 11pm to 7:25 am.  Then Tuesday night was 10pm til 6:15 am, last night was a little rougher-11:30 til 7.  I'm finally getting some sleep and it feels great!!

Adelie is 2 months old!

Adelie is two months old as of Saturday!  Today she had her Dr appt.  She weighed in at 9lb 8oz and 22in long.  Skinny Minnie is still in the 10-25% for weight.  I compared it to everyone else's 2 month stats:

Micah was 11lb 6oz, 22in

Matt was 12lb 4oz, 23in

Jennie was 10lb 6.5oz, 22in

Sunday night, the girls wore their colors!  HAIL!

Too bad Adelie puked all over her outfit not 15 min later...is this a sign my girl is going to be a Spartan??
