The last month...

 Happy Fall!  Sorry there has been such a delay in posts. To make a long story short, our computer has been on the fritz with the internet, and the camera wouldn't upload pictures on Matt's laptop...I finally got creative with copying and pasting.  So there is a lot to catch up on!

 Middle of October, we took Micah to his first movie in the theater.  We saw Despicable Me.  He was surprisingly good, even if he sat on my lap most of the movie!  He was scared at times just because it was so big and so loud. We went all out and he even had his own little bag of popcorn!

 Every year in the fall we take a walk at Grand Mere State Park. This was our third year.  We went on a Sunday afternoon mid-October, and it was a beautiful day!

 One of Micah's favorite things to do at daycare is play with playdough.  We don't have any in the house, so I thought I would be all homemaker and make some.  It is a little stickier than desired, even with extra flour, but he was enjoying playing in it with cookie cutters.  Epic fail-I went to take a shower and came back and he was standing on the playdough, on my rug....

 It was a great month of watching the Tigers. Matt even went to a playoff game.  This pumpkin was donated to us by a few in our awesome youth group! Very talented, and they didn't want to take it home.  Unfortunately it didn't bring the Tigers any luck in the world series...

 Halloween!  We were able to dress up three times...the first two times as Elmo, Bert and Ernie.

 We borrowed ketchup and mustard costumes from our friends, so I scored a great deal on a hot dog costume for Micah online!  On Halloween, we went to church were we had our annual fall family fun fair and this year introduced Trunk or Treat.

 Micah has been really into his animals, or "babies".  He made me take a picture of him with each baby-he would wrap them in the blanket, rock them, and sing "rock-a-baby, treetop". I think he will be a good big brother!

 As of last Friday (Nov 2), we are 31 weeks pregnant!

 We watched Braeden last Saturday night, which was so fun! Micah was very interested.  Micah used his bouncy seat for his babies again....hehe.  Matt enjoyed rocking Braeden to sleep.

 After two months, Micah and our closets are done!!!!!  Micah's closet is first...old closet on the left, new and improved on the right! Next is our bedroom closet, same with old and new! Very happy with the final results!!

Whew! I will try not to wait so long between posts this time.  Happy November! Turkey Day is just around the corner!!

Late update!

Last Friday, My mom, Micah and I went to South Bend to hang out with Jessica and Baby Braeden!  He is so sweet, I forget how small newborns are!  I had the privilege of changing him after he peed his outfit...I remember those days when Micah's little booty and chicken legs didn't fit the diapers, and now its Braeden's turn!  He was very alert and awake most of the morning, and he finally decided to take a nap with Grammy!

 Friday also marked 26 weeks in the womb for Adelie!

 Saturday was Alli's church shower!  Helga and I organized it and with the help of so many people, it turned out great! It was so fun to see all the goodies Maddie received . Hopefully Alli and Miles are a little more prepared for her birth now! Not too much longer now! 

 It was awesome to see Eileen again! It had been too long!

Wednesday nights!

Micah started Awana on Wednesday nights at church a few weeks back.  Our little boy is a Puggle!  

Staci and Tina ordered -tshirts and backpacks for the kids...it is so cute!!

Micah had a great time last night.  He learned that God made the sky and everything in the sky-clouds, moon, sun, and stars.  

Strangely enough, Mama is learning the same things in Genesis in BSF this year!

Camping

This past weekend was our church's annual camping trip to Van Buren State park.  It was quite an adventure as it rained a lot of the time, huge gusts of wind, and it hailed three different times! Gotta love tent camping! Luckily Alli and Miles borrowed another family's pop up camper, so we were able to stay dry during the day. Micah, of course, was a star camper.  He just loves being outside and exploring.

Now back tracking these past couple of weeks-Matt turned the big 3-0 on September 15th. We had a big get together at our house to celebrate with grilling and a bon fire.  Ashamed to say I did not take any pics of the day....I'm a bad wife!

Then this past Tuesday, September 18th, a new nephew arrived! Jess and Myke welcomed their first baby, Braeden Elisha! We went to South Bend that night to visit. He is just too precious! I can't wait to go and visit again now that they are at home!

And in not so exciting news, Micah helps fold laundry and Matt built a new storage system for Micah's toys in the living room!

22 weeks

22 weeks as of yesterday!

Our Baby! It's a...

We had our ultrasound appointment this morning. Our baby is looking perfect!  We found out the gender and decided to have a revealing party with family.  I made cupcakes and filled them with the color frosting coordinating with the gender...Everyone bit in at the same time, and...

 The frosting was PINK!!!  Its a girl!!!

So here it is, our baby girl!  Her name is Adelie Jane Maier!

We are so thrilled!

Trip to Mancelona

We went up north this past week to Dave and Ashley's cabin in Mancelona, also with the Maier's.  Had such  a great time swimming, playing with cousins, and the grown ups playing too much Settlers of Catan!
